Private Coaching for Kids and Teens


Private Coaching sessions are tailored to the specific needs of the child/teen and the family.  
These sessions are lively, interactive and supportive.

What I do during the sessions:

I tailor each session to their needs, learning type and their personality.
I help the them think more creatively, problem solve and see things differently.

I ask curious questions that support deeper thinking.
I encourage them to express their thoughts and feelings, even the yucky ones.
I listen intently, without judgement, to all they have to say.
I observe and identify the non-verbal communication.
I  see the whole child, not just the issue they are coming to see me about.  
I get to the heart of the issue.
I empower them to make some positive life changes.

I provide a safe and comfortable environment.
I celebrate their strengths and successes.
I teach new life-skills that they will carry with them for life.  
I play.
I laugh.
I love.
I care.

Having been a teacher for over 20 years, a mom and the founder of the Mindful Kids, I have seen my fair share of issues and solutions.  I understand and relate well to children of all ages. I get them. Children/teens feel comfortable opening up and sharing with me their struggles and issues.  Children/teens see me as someone who listens, cares, tells it like it is and also has some pretty great ideas and strategies to help them live happier and more productive lives.
